Help with any other areas of the Second Studio Board
Circle Mirror Transformation by Annie Baker
This production was my first time working as Production Manager. I dealt with a lot of the technical aspects for this show. I had to work with three different designers dropping the show and finding new ones. I also had to work with designers not having the knowledge to set up and execute all of their designs, which meant I assisted in a lot of areas. I also was the spear head of setting up the risers in our black box theatre, as well as the sound and lighting systems. This entire show took a lot of time from the entire team. I worked really hard on this show and most of my difficulties were coming from me not quite knowing all of the logistics. I learned a lot about sound, lighting, and communicating with the designers and faculty.

The Crucible by Arthur Miller
This was an interesting production because the director decided he didn't want any designers and that he would design it all himself, other than props. This was an interesting case because this is not normally the path professional productions take. Since we had this interesting situation, it led to me lending my help in more areas to ensure that tasks were completed. I was faced with difficulties mostly involved with obtaining materials needed for the show. Most of our items we get through the department and while the department is working on productions, it is hard to obtain things. We had to evaluate our options and come up with our own solutions.
Job Duties
Circle Mirror Transformation
The Crucible
I created technical contracts for each of the design areas. They list job responsibilities of each area. I found this important to do so because our production company runs in it's own way and I thought it would be helpful for designers to know their duties. This also made it easier to hold designers accountable for their responsibilities.
Tech Contracts
Other Components
There were a lot of other components to this project that I worked on. Not all deliverables are appropriate to display in a public format though due to sensitive material that is private to Second Studio as an organization. These different components are in the form of production calendars, meeting notes, crew lists, technical check lists, and more. These are all parts of my job that were very important and that I put a lot of work into.
